This isn't just any smoothie - it's the perfect blend of sweet strawberries and juicy peaches that tastes like summer in a glass! I created this recipe when looking for ways to use up the abundance of fresh peaches from our local farmers' market.
Unlike store-bought smoothies loaded with added sugar, this homemade version has natural sweetness from ripe fruit and a touch of honey. You might also like this Non-Dairy Avocado Smoothie or Banana Pineapple Smoothie.

Ingredients and Substitutions

- Strawberries. You can use fresh or frozen strawberries. For variety, swap with raspberries.
- Peaches. Fresh, frozen, or even canned peaches work here. Look for ripe, fragrant peaches in summer, or use frozen peach slices when fresh aren't available.
- Yogurt. I prefer vanilla yogurt for added flavor, but plain or Greek yogurt works too. Greek yogurt adds extra protein for a more filling smoothie. For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt.
- Almond milk. I used unsweetened almond milk, but you can use dairy milk, coconut milk, oat milk, or soy milk.
- Sweetener. Use honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup to add a bit of sweetness. This is completely optional. Taste your fruit first, as ripe summer peaches may provide enough sweetness on their own.

How to Make the Perfect Strawberry Peach Smoothie
Step-By-Step Instructions
- PREP: Add liquid ingredients to a blender first - pour in 1 cup of your milk of choice and 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup.
- LAYER: Add ½ cup yogurt, followed by 1 cup strawberries and 1 cup peaches (fresh or frozen).
If using a Ninja personal blender or Nutribullet, reverse the order of ingredients.

- BLEND: Start on low speed, then increase to high speed. Blend until completely smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
- ADJUST: For a thicker smoothie, add 4-5 ice cubes and blend again. For a thinner consistency, add more liquid until you reach your desired consistency.
- SERVE: Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh fruit slices if desired. Enjoy!

Top Tips
- Use frozen fruit for a thicker texture without watering down the flavor with ice.
- For meal prep, freeze fresh fruit in single-serving portions in small bags.
- Add nutrition boosters like flax seeds, chia seeds, or a handful of spinach without changing the flavor.
Variations
- Green Power Version: Add a handful of spinach or kale for a nutrition boost without changing the sweet flavor.
- Protein Packed: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to make it more filling.
- Extra Creamy: Add half a frozen banana or avocado for incredible creaminess.
- Fiber Boost: Blend in 1-2 tablespoons of oats or 1 tablespoon of flax seed.
Storage Tips
- Make ahead: Blend and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
- On-the-go: Pour into a mason jar with a tight lid for a portable breakfast.
- Freezer option: Fill popsicle molds for a healthy frozen treat kids love.
- Leftover smoothie: Pour into ice cube trays, freeze, and pop a few cubes into your next smoothie.
