- Ultra Creamy: This ice cream has a super smooth and creamy texture.

Ingredients & Substitutions

- Banana: You'll want to use a ripe banana. If you have small bananas, use two.
- Fairlife 2% Milk: Adds creaminess and protein. It's ultra-filtered, so there aren't as many ice crystals when it's frozen. You can also use Fairlife whole milk. To make it dairy-free, use unsweetened almond milk.
- Heavy Cream: Creates a rich texture. For dairy-free, use canned coconut cream.
- Honey: Adds extra sweetness. You can also use maple syrup or agave nectar.

How to Make Ninja Creami Banana Ice Cream
Quick Overview
- Blend ingredients.
- Freeze for 24 hours.
- Process in the Ninja Creami.
- Respin with extra milk for creaminess.
Step by Step Instructions
- Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the banana, Fairlife 2% milk, heavy whipping cream, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

Quick Tip from Jeri
If you want some banana chunks in your ice cream, don't blend it smooth - just pulse the mixture a few times.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Don't fill it past the MAX FILL line. Place the lid on and place on a level surface in a freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours.

- Process in the Ninja Creami: Once frozen, place the container in the outer bowl, then secure the lid assembly. Process in the Ninja Creami machine using the “Ice Cream" setting.

- Re-spin for Creaminess: After the first spin, remove the lid and use a spoon to create a small well in the center of the ice cream. Add one tablespoon of milk or cream, secure the lid, and use the "Respin" setting.

Top Tips
- Use Ripe Bananas: The riper the banana, the sweeter your ice cream will be.
- Respin: The texture will be crumbly after the first spin. Add another tablespoon of milk and respin.
- Customize: Add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.

Most Common Mistakes
- Skipping the Respin: Without the additional milk and respin, the texture will be dry and crumbly.
- Not Blending Thoroughly: Ensure all ingredients are fully blended for a smooth consistency.
- Using the Wrong Setting: Be sure to use the “Ice Cream” setting for the best texture.
Additions and Variations
- Chocolate Chips: Use the MIX-IN function to add chocolate chips after the respin.
- Cinnamon Swirl: Mix in a little cinnamon for a warm, spiced flavor.
- Nut Butter Swirl: Add a swirl of peanut butter or almond butter.
- Chopped Nuts: Almonds, pecans, or walnuts.

Notes
- Banana Ripeness: Use spotty, ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness. The riper the banana, the sweeter and more flavorful your ice cream will be. Green or barely ripe bananas won't provide enough sweetness or banana flavor.
- Milk Choice: Fairlife milk creates the creamiest texture due to its higher protein content, but almond milk works well for a dairy-free version. Just note that alternative kinds of milk may produce a slightly icier texture.
- Freeze Time: Don't rush the freezing process! A full 24 hours is crucial for the perfect texture. Any less time may result in a soft, unfrozen center that won't process properly.
- Respin Liquid: The tablespoon of milk added during respin is essential for getting the perfect creamy texture. If you skip this step, your ice cream may be too firm or icy.
- Level Freezing: Place your container in your freezer on a level surface. It it's uneven you won't be able to secure the lid properly.
