This Ninja Creami Banana Ice Cream is rich, creamy, and naturally sweetened with real bananas and honey. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s a healthier take on classic ice cream—smooth, flavorful, and just as delicious!
Blend Base Ingredients: In a blender, combine the sliced banana, Fairlife 2% milk, heavy cream, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend until completely smooth.
1 medium ripe banana, 1 cup Fairlife 2% milk, ½ cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Freeze Mixture: Transfer the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Secure the lid and freeze for 24 hours or until solid.
Process Ice Cream: Remove the frozen container from freezer and place in the Ninja Creami machine. Process on the "Lite Ice Cream" setting.
Respin for Smoothness: Use a spoon to create a small well in the center of the processed ice cream. Add 1 tablespoon of Fairlife milk and process again using the respin setting.
Serve: Scoop into bowls and enjoy with your favorite toppings!
Notes
Banana Ripeness: Use spotty, ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness. The riper the banana, the sweeter and more flavorful your ice cream will be. Green or barely ripe bananas won't provide enough sweetness or banana flavor.
Milk Choice: Fairlife milk creates the creamiest texture due to its higher protein content, but almond milk works well for a dairy-free version. Just note that alternative kinds of milk may produce a slightly icier texture.
Freeze Time: Don't rush the freezing process! A full 24 hours is crucial for the perfect texture. Any less time may result in a soft, unfrozen center that won't process properly.
Respin Liquid: The tablespoon of milk added during respin is essential for getting the perfect creamy texture. If you skip this step, your ice cream may be too firm or icy.
Level Freezing: Place your container in your freezer on a level surface. It it's uneven you won't be able to secure the lid properly.
