Ingredients for banana smoothie without yogurt
The following ingredients are all that are needed to make this peanut butter banana smoothie.

Banana. For an extra creamy smoothie, use a frozen ripe banana.
Almond milk. I used unsweetened almond milk, but any plant-based milk will work, including coconut milk, soy milk, or oat milk. Even regular milk will work if you are not vegan.
Peanut butter. I used natural peanut butter to add some protein. Almond butter or any nut butter will work.
Vanilla extract. Just a little adds fantastic flavor. Feel free to use almond extract as well.
Chia seeds. These are optional but add some protein as well.
Cinnamon. Just a sprinkle ties all the flavors together. Do not omit it, the flavor just isn't the same without it.
Maple syrup. I used pure maple syrup to sweeten the smoothie. You can also use honey or your favorite sweetener.

How to make a banana smoothie without yogurt

Step 1: Add frozen banana slices, milk of choice, peanut butter, vanilla extract, chia seeds, maple syrup, and cinnamon to a blender.

Step 2: Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If your smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. Add a few ice cubes and blend until smooth for a thicker smoothie. Pour the creamy banana smoothie into your favorite glass.

- Add other fruits, such as strawberries, blueberries, or mango.
- Add nuts or seeds, such as chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, or chopped almonds.

- For an even creamier texture, add half an avocado.
- Add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein.

- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
