Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Classic fall flavor - Apples and cinnamon make this taste just like apple pie in ice cream form.
- Ridiculously easy - No eggs, no cooking, just super simple.
- Creamy and smooth. The perfect creamy texture without cream cheese, thanks to a simple re-spin.
- Perfect for make-ahead desserts. Freeze in the pint, then spin when you're ready.

Ingredients You'll Need
- Applesauce. I used my homemade canned applesauce, but store-bought works too.
- Milk. I like using Fairlife 2% (or 3%) milk for higher protein and a creamy texture, but you could also use regular dairy milk, almond milk, or oat milk.
- Heavy cream. This makes the ice cream ultra creamy and not icy.
- Brown sugar. This adds that yummy apple pie flavor. If your applesauce is already sweetened, you can reduce the amount or omit it.
- Vanilla extract. This is a must-have for all of my Creami recipes.
- Cinnamon. Ground cinnamon doesn't mix in well, so I always blend it or use a milk frother to easily mix it in before freezing. You can also use apple pie spice if you like.
- Optional mix-ins. Crushed graham crackers, pie crust bits, Golden Oreos, or a drizzle of caramel sauce after spinning.
How to Make Ninja Creami Apple Pie Ice Cream
Step 1: Combine All Ingredients for the Ice Cream Base
Add ¾ cup applesauce, ¾ cup milk, ½ cup heavy cream, ¼ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon to a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy (about 30-45 seconds). I like to use my milk frother and just mix it in the pint container.

Step 2: Fill and Freeze the Pint
Pour the blended mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Do not go past the MAX FILL line. Secure the lid tightly and place the pint on a level surface in your freezer where it won't tip. Freeze for a minimum of 24 hours. (I like to label my containers so I know what they are as I usually have more than one kind on the go.)

Step 3: First Spin in the Ninja Creami
Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Insert the pint into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and secure the outer bowl lid. Place the bowl assembly into the machine and turn it to the right to lock it into the machine. Press the ICE CREAM button for the first spin and let it process.

Step 4: Re-Spin for Perfect Creaminess (Don't Skip This!)
After the first spin, the texture may look crumbly or powdery. That's normal! Remove the lid assembly and use a spoon to make a small well in the center of the ice cream. Pour in 1 tablespoon of milk or cream. Secure the lid again and press the RE-SPIN button.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!
After the respin, your ice cream will be silky smooth and ready to scoop. If you want to add mix-ins like crushed graham crackers, pie crust bits, or Golden Oreos, make a small well in the center of the ice cream. Press the MIX-IN button to evenly mix everything. Scoop into bowls and serve immediately, or sneak a spoonful straight from the pint. Enjoy!

Variations
Apple Pie à la Mode: Add crumbled pie crust or crushed graham crackers as a mix-in, then drizzle with caramel syrup.
Maple Apple Ice Cream: Swap brown sugar for ¼ cup pure maple syrup.
Apple Crisp Ice Cream: Stir in granola after the respin for a crunchy texture.
Apple Pie Protein Ice Cream: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to the base before freezing.
Storage Tips
Store leftovers in the original Ninja Creami pint with the lid secured. Return it to the freezer immediately and store for up to 2 weeks.
When you're ready for another scoop, let the pint sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes, then run it through the Re-Spin cycle. It'll be just as creamy as the first day.

Recipe FAQs
Nope. Any 2% or whole milk will work. I like Fairlife 2% Milk because it gives the creamiest texture, but use what you have on hand.
Easy! Swap the milk and cream for almond milk, oat milk, canned coconut milk, and coconut cream. The texture will still be smooth and rich with a subtle coconut flavor.
