- Graham cracker sheets are the perfect base for this toffee. You can use regular, low-fat, or gluten-free Graham crackers. You can also use saltines or Ritz crackers.
- Butter. I used unsalted butter, but you could use salted if you like.
- Brown sugar. I used light brown sugar, but you could use dark brown sugar if you like. You could also use a 50:50 mix of brown and white sugar.
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips. You could also use dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or peanut butter chips.
- Toffee bits. For a delicious, crunchy topping.
- Optional toppings: Chopped pecans, a sprinkle of sea salt, crushed candy canes, mini marshmallows, crushed pretzels, Graham cracker crumbs, or M&M's.
How to Make Graham Cracker Toffee

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF. Spread the graham crackers on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil in a single layer. (They don't have to be perfect).
Step 2
Make Toffee Sauce: Combine butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly with a whisk until the mixture boils and thickens (about 3 minutes).

Pour Toffee Sauce: Evenly pour the hot toffee sauce over the graham crackers and spread with a rubber spatula. Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes until bubbly.

Christmas Crack with Graham Crackers

- Baking Sheet 17 x 12 inches
Ingredients
- 33 sheets Graham crackers about 2 sleeves
- 1 cup butter unsalted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ยผ cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Step 2: Cover a large baking sheet with a single layer of graham crackers.
- Step 3: Make the homemade toffee sauce. Place butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. When the butter comes to a boil, constantly whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
- Step 4: Immediately pour the toffee sauce over the graham crackers evenly. Smooth it evenly over the crackers with a spatula while they are still warm.
- Step 5: Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes, until the caramel sauce is bubbly around the edges.
