½cupheavy cream(or canned coconut cream for dairy-free)
¼cupbrown sugar(or less if using sweetened applesauce)
1teaspoonvanilla extract
½teaspoonground cinnamon(or apple pie spice)
Optional Add-ins or Toppings: crushed graham crackers, pie crust bits, Golden Oreos, caramel drizzle
Instructions
Blend the Base: Add applesauce (¾ cup), milk (¾ cup), heavy cream (½ cup), brown sugar (¼ cup), vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), and cinnamon (½ teaspoon) to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy (30-45 seconds). You can also blend it in the pint container using a milk frother or whisk.
Freeze for 24 Hours: Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Do not go past the MAX FILL line. Secure the lid tightly and place the pint on a level surface in your freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
First Spin: Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Insert the pint into the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami, secure the lid assembly, and lock it into the machine. Press the ICE CREAM button.
Re-Spin for Creaminess: After the first spin, the texture may look crumbly. That's normal. Use a spoon to make a small well in the center of the ice cream. Pour in 1 tablespoon of milk or cream. Secure the lid and press the RE-SPIN button.
Add Optional Mix-Ins and Serve: If you want to add crushed graham crackers, pie crust bits, or Golden Oreos, make a small well in the center and add them. Secure the lid assembly and press the MIX-IN button. Scoop into bowls and serve immediately, or sneak a spoonful straight from the pint. Enjoy!

Notes
If your applesauce is already sweetened, reduce or omit the brown sugar.
For a stronger apple pie flavor, swap cinnamon for apple pie spice.
For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or almond milk with canned coconut cream.
Don't skip the re-spin; this gives you ultra-creamy ice cream.
