Ingredients breakdown
Find everything you need to make this easy recipe at your local grocery store.

- Pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling). This adds the signature fall flavor. Use store-bought or your own homemade pumpkin purée.
- Vanilla pudding. This adds a creamy sweetness. I used vanilla instant pudding mix. The cooked pudding will not work.
- Whipped topping. Like my Fruit Salad with Cool Whip and Pudding, Cool Whip gives the dip a light and fluffy texture. You can use heavy cream sweetened with maple syrup instead of Cool Whip or coconut whipped cream.
- Pumpkin pie spice. Optional. If you would like more pumpkin flavor, add a bit of pumpkin pie spice. I used this easy DIY pumpkin spice blend.
- Chocolate chips. Optional. Garnish with a sprinkle of white chocolate chips for a charming presentation.
