Ingredients
- Tortilla shells. Choose tortilla shells that are small enough to fit in your air fryer basket. Six to 8-inch tortillas should work. The one I used was 7 inches. You can use a flour tortilla, corn tortillas, or a low-carb tortilla.
- Pizza sauce. Use your favorite pizza sauce, tomato sauce, marinara sauce, pesto, or even BBQ sauce.
- Cheese. I used shredded mozzarella cheese, but you could also use cheddar cheese or Parmesan cheese.
- Toppings. I used pepperoni and mushrooms, but feel free to use your favorite toppings.

How To Make Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza
- Step 1. Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees C.
- Step 2. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edge (Images 1 and 2).
- Step 3. Add shredded mozzarella cheese, spreading it evenly over the sauce (Image 3).
- Step 4. Add your preferred toppings, spreading them evenly (Image 4).
- Step 5. Carefully place the prepared tortilla pizza in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook for 4-6 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the tortilla are golden brown. (The sweet spot for my air fryer was 5 minutes).
- Step 6. Use a spatula to carefully remove the pizza from the air fryer basket. Let it cool for a minute before cutting into slices.
Expert recipe tips
- Don't overload the pizza with too many toppings or too much sauce.
- Preheat the air fryer for even cooking.
- Let the pizza rest for a minute or two before slicing to give the cheese a chance to set.
- Use a pizza cutter for even slicing.
What to serve with tortilla pizza
I like to serve it with a side salad of Greek Cucumber Salad or Panera Copycat Tomato Basil Cucumber Salad. It also pairs perfectly with a bowl of Low Carb Creamy Tomato Soup.
If you like to dip your pizza, use Homemade Canned Spaghetti Sauce, Homemade Alfredo Sauce, or Buffalo sauce.
