- Quick and easy: Ready in just 20 minutes - perfect for last-minute desserts!

- Perfectly portioned: Make individual servings or one family-style cobbler.
- Year-round favorite: Works with fresh, frozen, or canned peaches.
Recipe ingredients
All ingredients for this recipe are shown in the pic below, and special notes are made in the bulleted list to assist you.

- Peaches: Use fresh, frozen, or canned - they all work great! For fresh peaches, choose ripe, fragrant ones and peel before using. Pro tip: To easily peel fresh peaches, blanch them in boiling water for 30 seconds, then plunge into ice water - the skins will slip right off! If using canned peaches, drain well; for frozen, thaw and drain first.
- Butter: Use unsalted so you can control the salt level. Make sure it's fully melted but not hot when adding to the batter.
- Cornstarch: Helps thicken the peach juices into a syrupy sauce. Don't skip this!
- Spices: Cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg create that classic cobbler flavor.
- Pantry staples: You'll need flour, white sugar, brown sugar, and baking powder for the topping. Make sure your baking powder is fresh for the best rise. You can also use coconut sugar instead of brown sugar.

How to make air fryer peach cobbler
- Preheat your air fryer to 330°F and spray a baking dish with cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups sliced peaches, ¼ cup each of brown and granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon each of ginger, nutmeg, and salt, plus 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well until peaches are evenly coated. Note: If using frozen peaches, thaw and drain first to prevent excess liquid.
- Transfer the seasoned peach mixture to a greased baking dish that fits your air fryer basket. Smooth the top with a spatula. Note: A 7-inch round or 6x6-inch square dish works well in most air fryers. You can also use four ramekins.

- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Pour in ⅓ cup milk and ¼ cup melted unsalted butter. Stir just until combined - don't overmix. The batter should be thick but spreadable.

- Spoon the batter evenly over the peach mixture, gently spreading to cover most of the fruit.

- Mix together ¼ cup brown sugar and ½ teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.

- Place the baking pan in your preheated air fryer. Air fry for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling bubbles around the edges. Note: If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.

- Remove carefully (the dish will be very hot!) and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. The filling will continue to thicken as it cools. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream( try my Ninja Creami Vanilla Ice Cream) or whipped cream. Enjoy!

Top tips
- Choose your peaches wisely. Fresh peaches should be ripe but firm. If using canned, drain well to prevent a soggy cobbler.
- Don't overmix the topping. Stir just until combined for the fluffiest biscuit texture.
- Watch the timing. Air fryers vary, so check at 15 minutes and adjust as needed.
Variations
- Mixed fruit: Add raspberries, blueberries, or cherries.
- Extra crunch: Top with chopped pecans or walnuts.
- Make it special: Drizzle with caramel sauce.
Storage instructions
Store leftover peach cobbler in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat individual portions in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 330°F to restore the crispy topping. You can also microwave portions, but the topping won't be as crisp.
What's the difference?
Have you ever wondered about the difference between a cobbler and a crisp? Here's what makes each unique:
- Peach Cobbler: Has a biscuit-style topping that's dropped over the fruit. The topping puffs up while baking, creating a cobbled appearance (hence the name!) It has a cake-like, fluffy texture on top of the fruit.
- Peach Crisp: Topped with a crunchy mixture of oats, flour, butter, and brown sugar. It creates a crispy, streusel-like topping (that's why it's called a crisp!). You might love my Air Fryer Peach Crisp recipe, too!
Both are delicious ways to enjoy fresh peaches, but this cobbler version gives you that classic, comfort-food biscuit topping that soaks up all the sweet peach juice!
Recipe FAQs
The topping should be golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the biscuit layer should come out clean. The peach filling will be bubbling around the edges.
Yes, but you'll need to cook in batches.
Yes! Bake at 350°F for about 35-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
While best served fresh, you can prep the peach filling and dry ingredients for the topping separately up to 24 hours ahead. Combine and bake just before serving.
