Ingredients
This copycat Starbucks recipe uses simple ingredients that are easily found in your pantry or at your local grocery store:
- Homemade vanilla simple syrup. Made with water, sugar, and vanilla extract, it comes together in just a few minutes. Store leftovers in the fridge.
- White chocolate. Melt your own or purchase white chocolate sauce. You can also use white chocolate chips. Use high-quality chocolate such as Lindt, Ghirardelli, or Bakerโs brand.
- Milk. Starbucks uses 2% milk, but feel free to use any type of milk. Almond milk, soy milk , and oat milk are great, as is skim milk for a lighter option.
- Espresso. I used dark-roasted Starbucks coffee beans. You can also use strong-brewed coffee, instant espresso powder, instant coffee, or French Press Cold-Brewed Coffee.
- Whipped cream. You can make your own using heavy cream and a blender, sweetened with simple vanilla syrup to taste. You can also use cold foam.
