🥭 Recipe Ingredients
This Starbucks mango dragonfruit refresher recipe is made with the following ingredients:
🍋 Ingredient Notes
- Dragonfruit. I used fresh dragonfruit, but you can also use frozen dragonfruit.
- Mango. Use fresh or frozen mango, the sweeter the better. If your mango is not very sweet, add a splash of mango juice.
- Dragon fruit powder. This takes the refresher base from a light pink color to a vibrant purple color.
- Lemonade. Make Homemade 3 Ingredient Lemonade or use store-bought.
- Sugar. I used granulated sugar, but you can make it sugar-free by using your favorite sugar substitute.
- Dried dragon fruit pieces. I bought mine at Amazon, but I have also seen them at Costco. The more you use the brighter the color will be.
- Green coffee bean extract is optional but can be added for caffeine.

📋 How To Make Starbucks Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher
Step-By-Step Instructions
This recipe makes 2 Grande-size refreshers (473 mL) or one Trenta-size refresher (887 mL).
1. Make the dragonfruit base. Finely dice dragonfruit and mango and place in a medium saucepan with sugar, water, and lemon juice. Heat on medium heat until just boiling.
Turn the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Use a potato masher to crush the fruit as it cooks. Once the fruit is soft, add the dragonfruit powder and mix.
2. Blend the mixture. Add the cooked fruit mixture to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour the dragonfruit base into a mason jar and cool in the refrigerator before using.
FYI - The first time I made this, I tried to drain it through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl. But it didn't work. Blending it all up gave the perfect flavor and consistency.
3. Assemble the dragonfruit refresher. Fill a Boston shaker or cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes. Add ½ cup of the dragonfruit base, ½ cup of lemonade, ½ teaspoon of green coffee extract if using, and a few dried dragonfruit pieces.
Secure the lid and shake for 20-30 seconds. Pour the entire mixture into a tall glass. Garnish with more dragon fruit pieces and enjoy your homemade Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher!
