🧅 Ingredient Notes and Substitutions
With these common ingredients, you'll have a delicious and easy keto-friendly spinach dip.

- Spinach. I used fresh spinach, cooked and squeezed dry. You can also use 14 oz. of frozen spinach instead. I find that the fresh spinach gives it a better flavor and a fresh taste.
- Cream cheese. I used full-fat softened cream cheese. If you want to cut calories, you could use low-fat cream cheese.
- Sour cream. I used full-fat sour cream, but you can use lower fat sour cream if you like.
- Mayo. I used avocado mayo for this dip, but you can use your favorite mayo.
- Black pepper. This adds great flavor to this dip.
- Onion powder. Adds more great flavor without being too overpowering.
- Garlic powder. You could also use finely minced fresh garlic.
- Worcestershire sauce. This really adds to the flavor.
- Green onion. I used chopped fresh green onion. You could also use 1 tablespoon of onion flakes instead of fresh onion.
- Parmesan cheese. Don't leave this out, it is SO good.

🥗 How to Make The Best Keto Spinach Dip Recipe
This low-carb version of traditional spinach dip is quick and easy to make
First, cook up the spinach. Place spinach in a large skillet. Heat over medium heat until wilted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cool.

Next, place softened cream cheese in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

Next, add sour cream and mayo to the cream cheese. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Add black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the cream cheese mixture. Blend until well combined.

Next, add chopped green onion and parmesan cheese to the cream cheese mixture. Blend until smooth at low speed.

Next, squeeze out excess water from the spinach. I just squeeze it with my hands, then wrap it in a paper towel and squeeze some more to get all of the moisture out that I can. Place spinach on a large cutting board and chop with a knife.

Add chopped spinach to the cream cheese mixture. Stir in with a spoon or spatula.

Transfer the creamy spinach dip to a serving container.
Top with extra chopped green onion if desired, and serve!
Enjoy!
That's all there is to it! Enjoy!
Hint: Leave the cream cheese on the counter for 30 minutes before blending it. This will ensure it softens and has a smooth and creamy consistency without lumps.
Hint: Place the bowl in the sink so if there is any splatter from blending it is easy to clean up. 🙂
Hint: Chop the spinach before you cook it. 🙂

⏲️ Can I make this ahead?
