This pasta dish went viral on TikTok, and after watching the video, I knew I had to try it. Of course, I put my own spin on it, but what I loved about it was its simplicity — how quick and easy it was to make a restaurant-style meal in just 30 minutes.
I like to serve it with Air Fryer Shrimp Kabobs or Air Fryer Chicken Skewers for an amazing meal.

Why I Love This Boursin Cheese Pasta
- Ready in 30 minutes.
- Super easy to make.
- The flavor is amazing.
- It's the perfect easy weeknight meal.
Ingredients & Substitutions
You'll need the following simple ingredients to make this baked Boursin pasta recipe:

- Pasta. You can use any type of pasta. I used fettuccine, but penne, rotini, or even spaghetti will work.
- Boursin Garlic & Herbs Cheese: I used Boursin Garlic &
Fine Herb cheese. Two packages make enough sauce to serve 4-5 people. If you are cooking for 2 people just use one wheel. - Cherry Tomatoes. Grape tomatoes will also work, as well as chopped Roma tomatoes.
- Garlic. I love garlic, so I used 6 garlic cloves.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil. You can also use avocado oil.
- Spinach. Fresh spinach leaves are added at the end. I don't recommend using frozen spinach.
- Basil. Garnish with fresh basil leaves to add flavor and a pop of color.

How To Make Oven-Baked Boursin Tomato Pasta
Step 1: Roast the Vegetables

- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Place the wheel of Boursin cheese in the center of a large baking dish and surround it with fresh cherry tomatoes and whole garlic cloves. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and vegetables and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Pasta

- While the vegetables and cheese are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.

- Remove ½ cup of the pasta water before draining and rinsing the noodles.
Step 3: Finish the Pasta Sauce

- Remove the baking dish from the oven. Using a fork, mash the roasted tomatoes and garlic, mixing them with the melted, creamy Boursin cheese to create a delicious sauce.

- Stir in the fresh spinach (it will wilt from the heat of the sauce). Add up to ½ cup of pasta water a bit at a time until you get the right consistency.
Step 4: Combine Everything

- Add the cooked, drained pasta to the baking dish, tossing everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.

- Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese alongside garlic bread.
Tip: You can also cut the bottom end of the garlic cloves and toss them in the corner of the dish before baking. After they are roasted, squeeze out the roasted garlic with a fork and mash.
Additions & Variations
- Protein: Add grilled or Smoked Chicken Breasts, Smoked Shrimp, or Air Fryer Bacon.
- Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, sliced zucchini, or sun-dried tomatoes.
- Cheese: Experiment with different Boursin flavors, or use goat cheese or cream cheese.
- Seasonings: Add fresh rosemary, thyme, or lemon zest.
Expert Cooking Tips
- Use a shallow, wide baking dish so you can spread the ingredients out in a single layer.
- Use different types of tomatoes, like yellow and red cherry tomatoes, to make it look more rustic.
- Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
Storage
Refrigerator: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Freezing: I do not recommend freezing as cooked pasta does not freeze well and may turn mushy.
Reheating: Reheat on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream.

Notes
- Feel free to swap out or add vegetables according to what's in season or your preference.
- Adjust the heat by increasing or decreasing the amount of red pepper flakes, or add a drizzle of chili oil before serving for an extra kick.
- Roast the whole garlic cloves with their skins on so they steam in their own moisture, giving the dish a more potent garlic flavor.
