Celebrate Valentine’s Day with these delicious Valentine Pretzel Rods! Quick, easy, and customizable with your favorite toppings, they’re the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper. Set aside.
Melt the Candy: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Use a separate bowl for each different color of melted candy. You can also use a double boiler or air fryer. *See NOTES below.
Dip the Pretzels: Pour melted chocolate into a tall glass, plate, pretzel rod mold, or any sort of tray that will fit the rod. Dip each pretzel rod into the chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
Decorate the Pretzels: Place the dipped pretzel rods on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with Valentine's Day decorations while the chocolate is still wet.
Set the Chocolate: Let the chocolate set and harden for about 30 minutes.

Set one bowl over a double boiler and melt the chocolate, stirring constantly until smooth.Microwave Method: Place the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.Air Fryer Method: Use the REHEAT setting on your air fryer. Stir the chocolate every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.DIY Double Boiler: Fill a saucepan with an inch or two of water and bring it to a gentle boil. Place a glass or metal bowl over the saucepan, ensuring it doesn't touch the water. Add the chocolate to the bowl and whisk until smooth and melted.
Melt the chocolate slowly to prevent burning.
Stir constantly for even melting.
Work in small batches to keep chocolate at the right consistency.
