1cupwhole milk(or 2% Fairlife milk or unsweetened almond milk)
½cupheavy cream(or canned coconut cream)
⅓cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Optional Add-ins or Toppings:
¼cupfresh blueberries
¼cupwhite chocolate chips
¼cupcrushed graham crackers
1-2tablespoonsblueberry syrup
Instructions
If using fresh blueberries, wash and thoroughly dry them. If using frozen berries, defrost them fully and dry them as best you can to reduce ice crystals.
Add blueberries (1 cup), milk (1 cup), heavy cream (½ cup), sugar (⅓ cup), and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon) in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy (30-45 seconds).
Pour the blueberry mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Do not go past the MAX FILL line. Secure the lid tightly on the pint jar.
Place the pint container on a level surface in your freezer and freeze for 24 hours.
Remove the pint from the freezer and remove the lid. Insert the pint into the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami, secure the lid assembly, and secure it in the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Select the 'ICE CREAM' function for the first spin and let it process.
After the first spin, your ice cream might look somewhat powdery or not completely smooth. This is normal! Remove the lid assembly from the pint jar and use a spoon to make a small indent or well in the ice cream. Pour one tablespoon of milk or cream into the well. Secure the lid assembly again and process the ice cream using the 'RE-SPIN' function.
Use an ice cream scoop or spoon to scoop your blueberry ice cream into bowls and serve immediately. Top with additional fresh blueberries, a drizzle of blueberry syrup, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes
Can I use a different sweetener? Yes! You can use honey or maple syrup, but reduce to ¼ cup as they're sweeter than granulated sugar.Blending Tip: If you prefer some berry pieces in your ice cream, pulse the blender rather than running it continuously.Mix-In Tip: If you want to add mix-ins like white chocolate chips or crushed graham crackers, do this after the re-spin. Make a well in the ice cream, add your preferred mix-ins, and then use the 'Mix-In' function.Storage Tips: If you have leftovers, store in the original Ninja Creami pint with the lid secured tightly in the freezer. It will maintain good texture for up to 2 weeks.Reprocessing Tips: Whenever you take the ice cream out of the freezer after storage, it will need to be reprocessed with the Re-Spin function to restore its creamy texture.Dairy-Free Version: For a dairy-free option, use unsweetened almond milk and canned coconut cream instead of milk and heavy cream.Make It Protein-Packed: Want to make this higher in protein? Add two tablespoons of vanilla protein powder to the blender with the other ingredients for a protein boost.
