This homemade BBQ Chicken Ranch Pizza is piled high with tender chicken, red onions, and melty mozzarella cheese. It's surprisingly quick to make and tastes delicious!
Combine yeast and sugar with warm water in a small bowl. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy on top. Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix with a wooden spoon or the dough hook on a stand mixer. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and place in the greased pan.
Assemble BBQ Chicken Ranch Pizza
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Combine the BBQ sauce and ranch dressing in a small bowl. Toss the shredded cooked chicken with a few spoonfuls of the BBQ ranch sauce.
Spread the barbecue ranch sauce evenly on the pizza crust. Top with chicken, red onion, and mozzarella cheese.
Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with fresh cilantro if you like, and enjoy immediately!
Notes
For a thicker-crust pizza, let it rise for 10-15 minutes after placing it in the pizza pan. For a thin-crust pizza, don't allow any rise time; prepare the pizza right away.
Feel free to use premade pizza dough or naan bread for individual pizzas.
You can also use rotisserie chicken to save on time.
Do not skip covering the chicken in BBQ sauce before placing it on the pizza. This prevents the chicken from being too dry.
