2tablespoonsmaple syrup(or honey, or your preferred sweetener)
2ouncesespresso(or strong brewed coffee)
Optional: sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
Heat and froth the milk: Pour the milk into a small saucepan, microwave-safe cup, or frothing pitcher. Add maple syrup. Heat until hot but not boiling (about 150°F). Froth using a steam wand, French press, handheld frother, mason jar, whisk, or blender.
Brew the coffee: Make 2 ounces of espresso or brew strong coffee using your favorite method.
Assemble your latte: Pour espresso into your favorite mug. Slowly add the hot frothed milk, holding back the foam with a spoon. Spoon the remaining foam over the top.
Finish: Garnish with cinnamon, nutmeg, or cocoa if you like. Sip and enjoy!

Notes
This recipe makes a 16 oz latte. Halve the ingredients for a smaller 8 oz cup.
Whole milk creates the creamiest foam, but any milk works.
Heat milk to around 150°F for best froth results.
Use cold brew concentrate instead of espresso for a smoother, low-acid option.
Try different syrups: vanilla, hazelnut, caramel—go wild.
Want it iced? Just skip heating the milk and pour over ice.
