Air Fryer Green Beans
These air fryer green beans are tender, lightly blistered, and ready fast. Lemon keeps them bright, and the method is easy to adjust depending on whether your beans are thin, average, or thick.

Ingredients

pound
fresh green beans
about 5 cups (rinsed and dried)
1
tablespoon
avocado oil
1
teaspoon
kosher salt
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 385℉. Rinse the green beans and dry them very well.
Toss the green beans in a large bowl with avocado oil, lemon juice, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Arrange the beans in the air fryer basket in as even a layer as possible.
Air fry for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
The beans are done when they have a light char on the outside and are still tender inside.
Serve with extra salt to taste, lemon zest, or lemon wedges.

Thin French green beans usually cook in 7 to 8 minutes.
Standard green beans usually cook in 8 to 10 minutes.
Thicker beans may need 10 to 12 minutes.
Do not overcrowd the basket.
Cook in batches if needed.
Dry beans cook better than damp beans.
Frozen green beans usually need 10 to 12 minutes and should be shaken often.
