These Ultra Crispy Smoked 0-400 Chicken Wings are quick and easy to make on a pellet grill! Just toss them with your favorite rub, put them on the grill, turn it on, and you will have wings with crispy skin in 20-30 minutes!
3tablespoonsHomemade Chicken Rub (ingredients below)or any BBQ rub
Homemade Chicken Rub
¼cupbrown sugar
2tablespoonsgarlic powder
2tablespoonsRoasted Garlic and Peppers Seasoninga Club House seasoning
2teaspoonspaprika
2teaspoonsonion powder
1teaspoonchili powder
1teaspoonseasoning salt
½teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Dry the chicken wings with a paper towel and place them in a large bowl.
Toss the wings with olive oil and coat generously with chicken rub.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the grill grates of your cold grill.
Turn your grill on and set it to 400 degrees F.
Grill the wings for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through at the 10-minute mark. If your grill is a Traeger, the wings may take closer to 30 minutes due to its longer heat-up time.
The wings are ready when they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the skin is crispy.
Remove the wings from the grill and serve as is with your favorite dipping sauce, or toss in your favorite wing sauce.
Notes
Store any leftover chicken rub in a jar for up to 2 months.
Make sure your grill is clean before starting.
Leave space between the wings.
Check the wings closely after flipping so they don't burn.
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
