This is the softest, fluffiest bread or buns you will ever make. They are easy to make, even for a beginner, and they taste amazing! They are also vegan, and are so light they are called 'air buns'! This recipe makes 3 loaves of bread or 45 buns!
– ½ cup lukewarm water – 1 tbsp yeast – 1 tsp cane sugar – 2 cups HOT water – 2 tsp salt – ½ cup cane sugar – 1½ cups WARM water – ½ cup oil – 1 tbsp white vinegar – 9-10 cups flour
Mix ½ cup lukewarm water, 1tbsp yeast, and 1 tsp sugar in a medium bowl. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
To a large bowl, add hot water, salt, sugar, oil, vinegar, flour, and yeast mixture.
Mix until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and becomes a smooth, round ball.
Cover and let rise for one hour.
Make dough into 1.5-inch balls. Place on parchment paper-lined cooke sheets Let rise for one hour.
You can also divide the dough evenly between three bread pans. Cover and let rise for one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
