Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs

Teriyaki Pineapple Meatballs are the perfect family-friendly meal. These easy-to-make, flavorful meatballs are an easy dinner recipe, with meatballs coated in a homemade pineapple teriyaki sauce.

For the Meatballs: – 1½ pounds lean ground beef – 3 tbsp almond flour – 1 egg large – ½ tsp garlic powder – ½ tsp onion powder – ¼ tsp black pepper – 1 tsp sea salt

For the Teriyaki Pineapple Sauce: – 14 oz can crushed pineapple with juice – 1 cup brown sugar – ½ cup white vinegar – 1 tsp soy sauce – ½ tsp garlic powder – 2 tbsp corn starch – ½ tsp ground ginger optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix together well.

Shape meatballs into 1.5" balls. Place raw meatballs in a single layer on a lined baking sheet. Place meatballs in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 40-45 minutes, until the meatballs are nicely browned.

Add all of the ingredients for the teriyaki pineapple sauce to a medium saucepan. Whisk the ingredients together, and heat over medium heat. Heat until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens, stirring frequently.

Serve cooked meatballs with teriyaki pineapple sauce
