Smoking a Turkey on a Pellet Grill

This year, impress your dinner guests by smoking a turkey on a pellet grill for Thanksgiving dinner. This is hands down the easiest turkey recipe you will ever make. No brining required! The bird is seasoned with a dry turkey rub that adds fantastic flavor and gives the turkey a crispy skin. The final result is a smoked turkey that is incredibly juicy and flavorful.

All that is required to make this smoked turkey is: –Whole turkey -Olive oil -Dry spice rub 

-Preheat the smoker t0 225 degrees F. -Mix the ingredients for the homemade dry spice rub together in a small bowl.

Rub olive oil over the entire turkey, including underneath the skin on the turkey breast. 

Sprinkle spice rub over the entire turkey, including underneath. Use your fingers to get it everywhere.

Place prepared turkey directly on the rack of the pellet grill.

Smoke the turkey until the internal temperature of the turkey breast is 165 degrees F, and the thigh is 175 degrees F.

Allow the turkey to rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.

Serve the delicious smoked turkey with your favorite side dishes.
