Smoked  Venison Backstrap Recipe


This Smoked Venison Backstrap is seasoned with delicious rub, wrapped in bacon, and smoked to perfection. This is the best way to cook this cut of venison.

INGREDIENTS -whole venison backstrap -dry rub -bacon

Preheat your smoker. Trim and dry the backstrap. Sprinkle with dry rub.

Wrap each piece with bacon slices. Secure with toothpicks.

Place venison backstraps directly on the grill grate of your smoker. 

Smoke until the desired internal temperature is reached.

Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10 minutes.
