This easy make ahead mashed potatoes recipe is perfect for the holidays! Making them ahead of time means you'll have one less thing to worry about on Thanksgiving Day. Plus, they're twice baked so they're extra delicious!

All that is required to make this delicious recipe is: -potatoes -bacon -butter -sour cream -milk -onion powder -garlic powder -black pepper -seasoning salt -cheddar cheese -green onions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Pierce potatoes with a fork, and place on the top rack of your oven.

When the potatoes are fully cooked, remove them from the oven.

Peel the skin off the potatoes if desired.

Add butter, milk, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.

Mash the potatoes and add bacon, cheese, and green onion.

Mix the ingredients until just combined.

Transfer the potato mixture into a greased casserole dish.

 Top with cheese, bacon, and green onion. At this point, cover and place in the fridge, or pop it back in the oven.

Bake until hot and bubbly.
