All that is required to make this delicious recipe is: -flour -sugar -baking powder -baking soda -salt -butter -egg -vinegar -milk

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Mix the milk and vinegar in a small bowl and let sit for a few minutes.

Whisk the white flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Cut in the cold butter and mix.

Beat the egg with a fork or whisk, and add it to the milk mixture.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a fork until just combined. Do not overmix.

Form the dough into a round loaf and place it in the prepared pan or skillet. Cut an X shape on top.
