These Instant Pot Chicken Drumsticks are perfect for a quick family dinner! The chicken turns out so juicy and tender. This recipe makes it easy to have a delicious and healthy meal on the table in no time!
– Chicken drumsticks – Olive oil – Dry chicken rub – Chicken broth – Barbecue sauce
In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the dry rub.
Brush the chicken legs with olive oil.
Sprinkle the dry rub evenly on the chicken drumsticks. Use your fingers to push the rub against the chicken.
Add one cup of water into the bottom of the Instant Pot and insert the trivet. Place the chicken drumsticks in a single layer on top of the trivet. Set the Instant Pot on high pressure for 10 minutes.
Let it go on natural release for another 10 minutes. Then, do a quick release to remove any remaining pressure in the pot before removing the lid.
Using tongs, place the cooked drumsticks on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brush one side of each leg with your favorite BBQ sauce and put the pan of chicken under your broiler for a few minutes, supervising it to ensure nothing burns.
