The Best Smoked Turkey Thighs


These smoked turkey thighs are incredibly tender, juicy, and delicious! You will love the taste of the homemade spice rub with each bite infused with smoky flavor and deliciously crispy skin! 

All that is required to make these easy turkey thighs are: -turkey thighs -olive oil -brown sugar -homemade dry rub

Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees F.  Add all of the ingredients for the turkey rub into a small bowl.

Dry the turkey thighs with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.

Apply olive oil to the entire outside of the turkey thighs.

Sprinkle the dry rub on the turkey thighs, covering the top, bottom, and sides.

Place turkey thighs directly on the cooking grates of the preheated smoker.

Smoke turkey thighs until the internal temperature of the turkey in the thickest part reaches 175 degrees F.

 Remove the turkey thighs from the smoker and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
