BEST  Smoked  Beef Tenderloin


This is an EASY recipe for Smoked Beef Tenderloin. It is roasted on the grill low and slow, then finished off with a delicious reverse sear! This tenderloin is cooked to perfection with a delicious charred smoky flavor. It is the perfect main dish for any special occasion!

All that is required to make this delicious tenderloin is: -Beef tenderloin -Olive oil -Beef tenderloin dry rub -Butter -Garlic

Preheat your electric smoker to 225 degrees F. Tie with string every 2 inches.

Mix together the ingredients for the dry rub in a small bowl.

Apply olive oil to the outside of the whole tenderloin.

Sprinkle the dry rub liberally over the entire tenderloin, covering all sides.

Place the tenderloin directly on the grill grate of your pellet grill.

Smoke for 30 minutes, then baste the meat with the butter and garlic mixture.

Smoke for approximately 15 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees F. Remove the tenderloin from the smoker, and cover it loosely with aluminum foil.

Turn up the temperature on your smoker to high heat. Sear the tenderloin for 1-2 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 130 degrees F.

Remove from the grill, and place on a cutting board or serving platter. Allow it to rest before slicing and serving.
